Your Tropical Island Samoan Wedding can become a dream come true here at Va-i-moana Seaside Lodge. We take care of ALL of the details for you, arranging your celebrant, paperwork and all the details of the day, while you sit back and relax and enjoy your day.
Va-i-moana have a beautiful white sandy beachfront, large deck on the beachfront, pier right over our turquoise blue water or grassy waterfront area surrounded by swaying palms. All of these locations make amazing ceremony backdrops – an absolute dream for your photographs on your big day.
Our beautiful open air restaurant can cater your dream reception, where guests will be seated under the stars, with swaying palms, twinkling lights and the sound of the South Pacific ocean lapping just a stones throw away.
Vaimoana to cater to small or larger groups, and we welcome children of all ages. A maximum of 80 guests able to stay inhouse and a maximum of 100 people can be in attendance at the reception. We are able to accommodate your guests in a range of different rooms, which tends to work out well for family weddings as people have differing budgets.
To book our wedding package the Bride and Groom must book 3 consecutive nights, and then they are able to book the package below.

Helpful Tips on Planning a Wedding on Savaii Island
• Remember that the trip to Vaimoana Seaside Lodge, Savaii from Upolu Island can take up to 5 hours, depending on 
where you are staying beforehand, and the ferry trips run at set times. Make sure your guests know in advance about the travel time so that they are here in good time for your big day!
• We recommend that your guests arrive in Samoa at least a day before your wedding, and for the best and most relaxed guests, we recommend that they stay here at Vaimoana in Savaii Island the night before your wedding. Doing this ensures that they are fresh and ready for your big day, and can enjoy the celebrations to the fullest!
• Note that our package does not include meals or accommodation as these things differ in price depending on what you are wanting. We work closely with you to offer you the most well priced options to suit your needs.
o Accommodation options range from traditional Open Samoan Fales to Enclosed Airconditioned Suites. Let us know where you would prefer to stay.
o Catering options for the Reception include both Buffet Meal and Set Menu options. Let us know what you would like to eat on your special day and we can offer you options.
o Additional extras such as DJ entertainment, photography and hair and makeup can be arrangement at additional costs.
• Remember that the bride and groom must be in Samoa for three days before their wedding, and we require that you stay with us for at least 3 nights to book a wedding package.
• Pre-book your photographer! In Samoa there are a handful of excellent wedding photographers on island, and they tend to become booked 6 months or more ahead of time. Make sure you research and book your photographer in advance. Vaimoana can help you with recommendations.
